The energy storage chiller primarily consists of a compressor, condenser, filter-drier, expansion valve, evaporator, fan, controller, and sheet metal enclosure. The product is specifically designed for battery pack cooling in the energy storage industry, providing chilled water for liquid cooling of energy storage batteries.

During operation, the high-temperature, high-pressure refrigerant gas compressed by the compressor flows into the condenser. After exchanging heat with the ambient air, it becomes a high-pressure, ambient-temperature liquid. The high-pressure liquid passes through the filter-drier, then is throttled and depressurized by the expansion valve, forming a low-temperature, low-pressure liquid. It then enters the evaporator to cool the circulating water. After absorbing heat, the refrigerant becomes a low-pressure, ambient-temperature gas and is drawn back into the compressor, completing the refrigeration cycle. Driven by the pump, the chilled water (or coolant) flows from the evaporator to a water tank and is then pumped into the equipment to be cooled, absorbing heat from it. The warmed chilled water (or coolant) returns to the evaporator to be cooled again, forming a complete chilled water cycle.
