Air-Cooled Magnetic Bearing Chiller
The air-cooled chiller is specifically developed to support data center applications. It consists of key components including a compressor, condenser, evaporator, filter drier, expansion valve, fans, water pump, dry cooler, controller, and metal frame. During operation, low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant vapor is compressed by the compressor into high-temperature, high-pressure gas and then flows into the condenser, where it exchanges heat with ambient air and condenses into a high-pressure, medium-temperature liquid. After passing through the filter drier, the refrigerant flows through the expansion valve for throttling and pressure reduction, forming a low-temperature, low-pressure gas–liquid mixture, which then enters the evaporator to cool the circulating water. After absorbing heat, the refrigerant returns to a low-temperature, low-pressure gaseous state and is drawn back into the compressor, completing the refrigeration cycle. Driven by the pump, chilled water flows from the evaporator to the cooling equipment to absorb heat, then returns to the evaporator for cooling, forming a complete chilled-water circulation loop.
